I’m Pretty Sure They Think We’re Crazy

Last night I half-convinced my husband that our 6 year old son had rheumatic fever all because I looked down his throat with a flashlight and saw something white coupled with the fact that he had a rash a week ago, and some nosebleeds. Oh, and did I mention Google? Yes, add Google to the mix there and your child will have everything there is. Gosh, you can convince yourself and everyone around you that they have something!

So, this morning we took both boys to their pediatrician as per Google’s suggestion. LOL. Seriously, though, they needed to be seen just to be on the safe side. They were both checked out and it turned out to be just bad seasonal allergies that comes around every year so we were given some zyrtec and nasonex for the oldest, and off we go or so we thought.

Here comes the part about the slide… There is a slide in the pediatrician’s office that our 2 year old likes and he didn’t want to leave the slide. Our 2 year old had a god-awful tantrum because we were ready to leave the Dr’s office. The hubs had to carry him out kicking, screaming & shirtless in 50 degree weather.

And, I’m convinced that after that scene, the receptionist and Pediatrician thought we were absolutely crazy people who can’t control their kids.

Please tell me your kid(s) act like this sometimes?
