I’m often asked how I make money from home. Many times people don’t understand what I mean and sometimes I think some folks don’t even believe me, ya know, because oftentimes what we don’t understand we don’t believe.

Anyway, I’d like to think that I can help other Moms out even if it was just so that a mom could have an extra few dollars each week to spend on herself or even to help out with one bill. That’s how I started out.

I remember the first “paycheck” I got from working from home almost 4 years ago. I even remember what I bought with it. I took my son, who was 2 1/2 at the time, to the animal shelter and let him pick out a puppy. We bought the puppy along with some supplies with my first work at home paycheck. Obviously, it wasn’t a whole lot of money but it was money I had made from creating a website a month prior.

Nowadays, things are a lot different and I take this at home business more seriously. I also make more than the cost of a puppy and food. Thankfully, I make enough to buy the groceries, pay the rent, and the rest of the bills since the husband is currently enrolled in a PHD program. Once he is done and has secured a full time faculty position, I think I’ll slow down a bit. Or maybe not since the boys will both probably be in school everyday and I’ll have nothing to do. Of course, I could finally spend my days shopping or relaxing.
