“I don’t want to potty train. I’m a baby!”

Our younger son will be 3 in June. Last September he was almost potty trained for around a month and then out of nowhere he was no longer interested. I don’t really know what happened other than we went on a Fall vacation and I put him back in pull ups for the long trip. Maybe that confused him?

And, now, some days he’s interested and some days he’s not. Up until now I’ve had a very relaxed approach to his potty training and have basically let him decide when he’s ready.

This morning when he woke up I replaced his nighttime diaper with some cute underwear. Well, he peed in them and took them off saying, “I want a diaper on. I’m a baby”. Again!

Oh, the joys of potty training… and this is my 2nd time around… Ah!!
