We left the boys with their grandparents (the in-laws) for 2 days after Christmas so that Hot Daddy and I could celebrate our 9th anniversary sans kids. While we were chowing down on fast food and watching way to many movies ( What? You mean this isn’t what you are supposed to do while alone on your anniversary), our 3 year old learned the truth about Santa Claus.

Yesterday evening Baby Picasso came up to me and said while giggling, “There’s no such thing as Santa Claus. Santa is fake.” He went on to say that his Daddy was Santa. What’s funny is that he doesn’t care and I’m kind of sad. Heck, Future Bam still believes and he’s 6 1/2 years old.

Someone is in trouble for breaking the news. I just don’t know who…
