Our Week In Pictures 12.10.11
Getting back into blogging after over a year off is a daunting task but if I’m going to really do it I might as well dive back in!!!
My little elf. He has a bit of an obsession with Rudolph right now.
We’ve collected a hodge podge of ornaments through the years. I’m sure you have all kinds of junk too right?
My venture into tofu in colorful Oneida glass bowls. They have gorgeous collections. I’m just not so sure glass is a great idea for little kids.
While I’m on the subject of tofu…Is there a brand of tofu that is better than others? I bought organic/cubed/firm but wasn’t really sure how to season it. As you can see in the bowl I stir-fried tofu, broccoli, carrots, zuchinni, and onions in a sesame seed olive oil mix with some sugar, garlic powder, salt, pepper, honey mustard, and Worchestershire Sauce. Then I poured it over cooked rice noodles.
Ranger. Our 13 week old German Shepherd Mix puppy. He’s an amazing dog. Did I mention he lives in the house?
I’m hoping I can do “Our Week In Pictures” every single week of 2012. I know that’s a huge commitment but I’m going to try my best to do it.

How did the tofu stir fry taste? It looks really good.
BTW, I absolutely love MorningStar Farms veggie corn dogs. They taste just like a real corn dog but with much less fat and no meat. Probably still not the purest food out there but they make a pretty good quick meal or snack. And they passed the Abby test
I’ll have to try those corn dogs. I’m not sure I could go completely vegetarian anyway but I’m trying to eat less meat, drink more water, and overall eat healthier. The tofu stir fry tasted pretty good but something was missing. However, if this means anything – Jarrod took it from me and finished it!
Thanks for the comment. I haven’t been to this blog in forever but I miss blogging so I am starting it back up. I need to have Jarrod work on the template at some point but for now this is it.
