365 Day #32: The Rules Don’t Apply To Me

I didn’t pick up my camera on day 32 so I’m sharing another from our recent Valentine session. I love this shirt because it kind of sums up how we live our life.

*If you are wanting to take some awesome photos of your kiddos with a Valentine’s theme check out this post, DIY Mini Valentine Photo Session, that I wrote for the Family Buzz.

365 Day #31: These Boots Are Made For Splashing!

My boys are deeply attracted to the creek that runs in front of our house. I’m a bit concerned with what is floating in it. Yeah, it looks pretty in this picture when the water is flowing freely but sometimes it’s not so pretty.

Lifesaver = long rubber boots. This was taken yesterday. In January. It almost felt like Spring! And, yes, you are finally seeing a portrait of my camera shy 10 year old ( he will be 11 in a couple of weeks) sporting his mohawk.

365 Day #30: Be Unpredictable

I had a few awesome shots from today. This is one of them.

My little guy and I were rocking our Valentine session until we almost stepped on a big black snake. After that I did what anyone terrified of snakes would do, I ran.  Yes I ran and acted all kinds of crazy even though the snake was non-poisonous. Of course my craziness didn’t phase my child because he had to go back and take a peek at the snake. Then we left. The end.

365 Day #29: Cupcakes

I made 24 of these cupcakes less than 24 hours ago. There are only 3 left. We have a serious cupcake problem.

P.S. I skipped Day #28.

365 Day #27: Saving The Day As Usual

365 Day #26: Learning Can Be Fun!

365 Day #23: At The Hospital

Our 7 year old has  eosinophilic esophagitis. He has to endure endoscopies quite often.  This was surgery 7 or 8. It could be number 9. At this point I’ve lost count.

This past Monday at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital taken with the iPhone.  It was our terrible horrible no good very bad day!

If you’ve read my blog in the past or know me personally then you already know all about our boy. If you are new here, you may want to read Eosinophilic Esophagitis and Eating, The Ice Cream Truck Crisis, On E.E. , and Living With Eosinophilic Esophagitis to learn more about our son and eosinophilic disorders.

365 Day #21: A Boy And His Dog

Where is the love?

365 Day #20: My Grey

Snapped this before taking our son to his pre-operation physical  on Friday of last week.  This is him. Beautiful and Sweet.

If you are paying attention, I skipped Day #19 and I’ll be skipping Days #22, 24, and 25. After that I should be on track to actually complete the 365 Photo Challenge. Gosh, committing to even one simple thing every single day is hard.

365 Day #18: Myself
