New Years Eve Party For Your Kids

Back To Holidays For Moms  New Years is a holiday where you get to celebrate the coming of a  new year.  It is celebrated on December 31, the last day of the year. Many families have parties and celebrations on New Year's Eve.  Celebrate New Years Eve at Home This Year With your kids.

Ring in the New Year With Your Whole Family This Year. Be sure to include your kids in your New Years Celebration. Below are a few party ideas to get you started.

  • First You'll need to get some fun kid-friendly party supplies such as hats, noise makers and confetti. You can even get a bunch of craft supplies together and decorate your own outlandish hats!
  • Second, you'll need to plan some fun kid-friendly party recipes. How about pizza? Fruit and vegetable trays?
  • Third, come up with some fun New Year's Eve Games for the whole family to enjoy from the toddler in the family up to the adults. Twister, monopoly, video games, and other card games such as rook or uno are fun games for the whole family to enjoy.
  • Fourth, let the kids stay up late for a change. Have a slumber party and let them ring in the New Years with you. Let them throw confetti, makes noises or even see a few fireworks (as long as parents are the ones doing it and the city allows them).

You can also do some New Years Crafts to teach your pre-school and school age children about New Years and what it means. Here is a New Years Eve history article for parents.
