Take Your Kids to the library. Most libraries
offer activities for all age groups and it can be alot of
fun!
Take your kids to the movies! Lots of children's
movies come out during the summer and this is a great way to
beat the heat! Take them during the daytime for lower
prices!
Go
to a museum! There are so many different types of
museums to visit. Find one in your area that you and your
kids will enjoy together. Maybe a dinosaur museum, a science
museum, or a baseball museum.
Go
to a local farm! Kids loves farms, corn fields
and farm animals. Arrange a time to visit a farm before
summer vacation is over!
Go
on a nature adventure! You could take your kids
on a hike through the woods, go to a cave, a local lake, or
any natural habitat!
Go
to a yard sale or flea market! Shopping is always
fun but shopping at a yard sale or flea market is a whole
new experience for kids! The value of money can be taught
here too!
Go
to a lake, community pool or ocean. Kids love
water and one of the above should be local in your area.
See
a play! Find a live play in your area that
appeals to kids!
Go on a
historic adventure! Take your kids on adventure
of your local or state history. Visit various historical
sites.
Go
to a drive-in theater. Yes, there are still some
drive-in theaters around and what a treat it would be for
the kids!
