Let your child contribute to the holiday
decorations. Here is a fun and simple Santa cup craft to make with your child.
You can use these for dinner guest gifts or placeholders. If you haven't already you may want to read the Getting
Started With Fun Santa Craft
Ideas page so you will know exactly what you need; most of it
may already be lying around your house!
What
You Need To Make This Craft:
plastic red cups
black magic marker
styrofoam balls
peices of felt
non-toxic white glue
How
To Make The Santa Cup Craft:
Red plastic cups or
small terra cotta pots can be turned over and used as Santa’s body. A
Styrofoam ball can double as Santa’s head. Small cotton balls can be
used on the face for the beard. Wiggly eyes or a marker can draw the
eyes, nose, & mouth. Give kids the space to decorate and dress Santa the
way that they want to. Get them to make enough of these Santa cups or
pots and place them on your table as a small gift or placeholder for
each Christmas dinner guest.
